Coach I want to thank you for offering this for trainers/coaches. As a rider, I found this process – of identifying the things that were weighing me down, the things I needed to release – for the most part on my own. As I look back, I see that most of my former trainers simply weren’t equipped to understand/identify these pieces and/or work through them with me – to not make me wrong for how I was feeling or thinking, but see that these challenges offered an opportunity. And, as a former coach myself, I know I, at the time, had so much room to grow into facilitating my athletes to soar. This is SUCH a critical piece of the coaching equation!
