WORKOUTS & WORKSHOPS
Team
Building
Camaraderie is as important as confidence and teamwork is as important as talent when it comes to achieving success in our sport. Learn to identify and develop your own personal strengths – and then learn how they can contribute to the success of an entire team.
Rider
Fitness
From sun-up to sun-down, experience a series of rider-specific cross-fit and fitness exercises in our two-a-day workouts using agility ladders, medicine balls, stability balls, battle ropes, fitness bands, stability balls, and more to build your strength, stamina, and suppleness.
Sport
Psychology
Improve your confidence, focus, willpower, optimism, and resiliency. Learn how to overcome fears, performance anxiety, doubt, perfectionism, expectations, and negative memories… while also discussing how to cope with pressure and recover after mistakes.
Athlete
Nutrition
You know the importance of providing your horse with a healthy diet and proper hydration. Spend four days learning how to treat yourself like your horse… ensuring you get the most of your body by putting the best into it. Topics include healthy options and athlete meal plans.
Injury
Prevention
In addition to our several daily workouts in the gym and on the cross-fit field, we’ll also discuss the many different ways to ensure that your time spent there will be as safe as possible. Topics will include the many signs and symptoms of common injuries, their treatment – and most importantly – how to prevent them in the future.
Special
Events
From equestrian yoga classes to special team tours, the only sure thing about these camps is that they’ll be exciting and surprising. Riders in 2018 sparred with the US boxing team, attended a USA vs Canada volleyball game, watched a national gymnastic competition, and did a beach workout at our Florida camp. What will you experience?
DATES & LOCATIONS
PLANNING YOUR STAY
Accommodation
Accommodations vary from college style dorm rooms (with shared shower rooms on coed floors) to semi-private hotel style rooms with private bathrooms. Towels, bed linens, and basic toiletries are included. Regardless of your accommodations, you will have a roommate so please pack accordingly.
Athlete Meals
Tuition includes all meals (often up to five times a day) in the athlete dining center. Healthy proteins, fats, vegetables, fruits, and carbohydrates make up the bulk of our meals and the all-you-can-eat buffet changes daily so that you’ll always find what you need to fuel your body for the demands of the camp.
Tuition Fee
Accommodations at all campuses are extremely limited so riders are required to pay their tuition in advance. Please note that tuition is non-refundable but can be transferred to another rider if you can’t make camp (or a portion may be applied to a future camp). Please take this into consideration before making payment.
Applications are now being accepted. Enrollment is limited to sixteen riders and will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. Riders of all levels and disciplines may apply. Minimum age is twelve, but Coach Stewart will make exceptions for deserving and mature young riders.
